Damit das nicht so bleibt, haben wir in diesem Blog einen wichtigen Begriff aus diesem Wortschatz herausgegriffen und werden versuchen, ihn in einfachen Worten zu erkl\u00e4ren. Lassen Sie uns gerne wissen, ob es uns gelungen ist!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die meisten von uns kennen die klassischen Kunststoffarten wie Polyethylenterephthalat (PET), Polypropylen (PP) oder Polyethylen (PE). Jedes dieser Polymere hat seine eigenen Eigenschaften (siehe auch Barrieren in Verpackungen) und ist daher f\u00fcr unterschiedliche Anwendungen geeignet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Da sich der Schwerpunkt bei flexiblen Verpackungen auf &#8222;Design for Recycling&#8220; verlagert hat, wurden die Eigenschaften von Kunststoffen neu bewertet und ihre Herstellungsverfahren weiterentwickelt. Bestimmte Materialien eignen sich besonders gut f\u00fcr die Gestaltung von &#8222;Design for Recycling&#8220; oder f\u00fcr so genannte &#8222;Monomaterialverpackungen&#8220;. MDO-PE oder monoorientiertes Polyethylen ist eines dieser Materialien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns background-violet is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"363\" height=\"276\" src=\"https:\/\/group.ileibrock.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/06_newshub\/blog\/mdo_icon.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4128\" srcset=\"https:\/\/group.ileibrock.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/06_newshub\/blog\/mdo_icon.png 363w, https:\/\/group.ileibrock.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/06_newshub\/blog\/mdo_icon-300x228.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 363px) 100vw, 363px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aber was genau ist MDO-PE?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MDO-PE im \u00dcberblick:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list-ok-small wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chemische Zusammensetzung: High-density Polyethylen (HDPE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transparenz \/ Haze : unter 10%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dehnung der Folie in L\u00e4ngsrichtung: &gt; 1.400 MPa<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thermische Stabilit\u00e4t: &gt; 135\u00b0C<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um MDO-PE zu erhalten, wird Polyethylen einem speziellen Verfahren unterzogen: Es wird in Laufrichtung der Maschine gereckt. Das ist deshalb erforderlich, weil PE selbst ein sehr dehnbarer (LDPE) oder eher tr\u00fcber (HDPE) Kunststoff sein kann. Standard-PE l\u00e4sst sich zwar sehr gut f\u00fcr Siegelprozesse verwenden, erschwert aber die Bedruckung oder die Stabilit\u00e4t der fertigen Verpackung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading color-orange\">Warum also setzen wir \u00fcberhaupt auf Polyethylen und nicht auf andere Kunststoffe wie das weniger weiche PET?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Einer der Gr\u00fcnde liegt in der aktuellen Entwicklung der Recycling-Infrastruktur: In vielen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern gibt es sehr gute Recycling-Kreisl\u00e4ufe f\u00fcr Polyethylen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus ist PE vielseitiger als andere Polymere.<br>PET beispielsweise l\u00e4sst sich nur schwer versiegeln und kann daher nicht ohne weiteres in moderne, schnelle Produktionsprozesse integriert werden (wir werden demn\u00e4chst einen Blog \u00fcber PET und seine verschiedenen Varianten schreiben ;)).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wie wird MDO-PE produziert?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nach der Extrusion von Polyethylen auf einer Blasfolienanlage (Was ist das genau? Lesen Sie mehr dazu unter: Extrusion) wird die Folie gedehnt. Dies kann entweder &#8222;in-line&#8220; (wie es optimalerweise sein sollte), d.h. in derselben Maschine, oder in einem weiteren Prozessschritt erfolgen. Dazu wird die Folie auf eine bestimmte Temperatur erhitzt und \u00fcber mehrere sich immer schneller drehende Walzen gef\u00fchrt, wodurch die Folie immer weiter gedehnt wird. Um die neue Form der Folie beizubehalten, muss die nun gespannte Folie &#8222;thermofixiert&#8220; werden. Selbst kleinste Fehler multiplizieren sich und k\u00f6nnen weitreichende Folgen haben.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volle Temperaturkontrolle: Wie schnell und wie stark wird die Folie erhitzt und abgek\u00fchlt?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maschinenlaufgeschwindigkeiten: Wie schnell wird die Folie in Laufrichtung beschleunigt?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durch das Ziehen der Folie werden die Polymerketten des PE &#8222;gedehnt&#8220;, was zu einer gr\u00f6\u00dferen Kristallinit\u00e4t, h\u00f6herer Festigkeit und Steifigkeit f\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wof\u00fcr wird MDO-PE verwendet und was sind die Vorteile?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durch die Ausrichtung haben sich die physikalischen Eigenschaften der PE-Folie so ver\u00e4ndert, dass sie in Bezug auf Bedruckbarkeit und mechanische Leistung mit g\u00e4ngigen Tr\u00e4germaterialien wie PET vergleichbar ist. Dadurch kann PE mit allen g\u00e4ngigen Drucktechnologien verarbeitet werden &#8211; unabh\u00e4ngig davon, ob es sich um Tiefdruck, Flexodruck oder Digitaldruck handelt. Es kann sogar auf Hochgeschwindigkeitssystemen eingesetzt werden. Wir haben bereits Druckl\u00e4ufe mit unserem eigenen MDO-PE (CrystalPE) auf 9-Farben-Tiefdrucksystemen beobachten d\u00fcrfen, die Geschwindigkeiten von 600 m\/min erreichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading color-orange\">So beeindruckend dieses Material auch ist, Sie k\u00f6nnen Produkte nicht ausschlie\u00dflich mit MDO-PE verpacken<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um eine leistungsf\u00e4hige, D4R-konforme Verpackungsfolie zu erhalten, wird MDO-PE klassisch mit einer PE-basierten Siegelfolie kaschiert. Das Endergebnis ist eine bedruckte, D4R-konforme Mono-PE-Verpackungsl\u00f6sung, sofern nicht zu viele weitere Bestandteile wie Barrieren oder Druckfarben hinzugef\u00fcgt wurden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"color-violet mt-5 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wir hoffen, dass wir Ihnen einen spannenden, informativen Einblick in unsere Welt geben konnten.
